The hot tub industry follows the energy standards set by the California Energy Commission (CEC) for all portable spas. Viking Spas makes sure that all its hot tubs meet or exceed these standards with its Arctic insulation. This insulation includes a 2lb polyurethane foam sprayed onto the underside of the shell, followed by the installation of foam boards and a temperature shield material attached to the backside of the cabinet panels.
